Figures and Reliefs
Many of the figures are drawn from observation of life in a rural community. The mounting of the figures on panels made from clay means that they can be framed and wall-mounted. The majority of Simon’s sculptural reliefs are framed in oak, each frame bespoke made for the individual piece. A simple but ingenious, hidden fixing system at the back of each frame allows the frames to be mounted securely, safely and flush to the wall.
